Drakelow Primary School, Burton

Handley Contracting were appointed to deliver the mechanical installation works for the new Drakelow Primary School, a purpose-built educational facility forming part of a major residential development on the former Drakelow Power Station site.

The scope of works included the installation of domestic water services and wet heating systems throughout the building. These systems were delivered using traditional screwed and welded steel pipework, ensuring durability, reliability, and long-term performance in line with the project’s requirements.

Working alongside the main contractor and wider project team, our works supported the delivery of a modern, energy-efficient school environment.
